Visiting the website
There is no contact form, online payment, newsletter registration or online booking. The website code has no embedded maps, social feeds or external analytics. Images and code are hosted with the site; system fonts are used. Your language is specified in the URL, not stored in cookies or local storage by our code.
Cookies and technical operation
The website code does not set cookies or include advertising pixels or visitor analytics. This does not mean the hosting platform processes no personal data. Delivery and security may involve IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs and browser information. The current preview uses Sites with Cloudflare infrastructure and access control. Platform cookies, logs, purposes and retention must be checked on the final public domain.
Contacting us by email
Email links open your email application. Nothing is sent until you send the message. Your name, email address and information you provide are used to reply and follow up. Please avoid sensitive information and payment card details. Contact is voluntary, but we need a reply address to respond.
Purposes, legal basis and retention
The proposed basis for specific pre-stay enquiries is GDPR Article 6(1)(b). For other enquiries, the proposed basis is Article 6(1)(f): the interest in responding and following up. The business must assess and document this. The proposed approach is deletion once follow-up is complete and the information is no longer needed, with legal retention obligations handled separately. Actual deletion periods and backup practices must be confirmed before launch.
Providers and sharing
Email and hosting providers may process data to deliver their services. The provider list, processing agreements, storage locations, access and any transfer safeguards outside the EEA remain to be documented. We cannot yet confirm that all data is processed only in Norway or the EEA.
Your rights
Contact info@heroycaravan.no to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability where applicable. Consent, if used as a basis, may be withdrawn. You may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet. The website code does not carry out profiling or automated decisions.

Maps, travel information, GLØD and other experiences are ordinary links. You visit the external service only when you follow a link; its own privacy terms then apply. This website does not accept bookings or payments.
